electric fans

I searched a little and couldnt find an answer to this particular question. If I get a mail order tune and in addition have them add tuning for electric fans, could I still use the computer they tune if I havnt installed my electric fans yet...I guess what I am saying is will my clutch driven fan still work with an electric fan tune?

Yep, most tuners go ahead and activate pin 42 while doing a tune.
But again, everything will work just fine with the PCM tuned for the fans even if they are not installed.

, just throwing some ideas around and trying to prioritize so I can get this thing to the track for once.
