Install Dual electric fans in 03 Suburban.
Two fans, P59 ECM control.
In THEORY, I don't need/want fans running at normal highway speed.
What is good starting point for LOW speed fan cut in/ cut-off ?
Presume HIGH speed should go a few or several degrees above LOW ?

Starting guesstimate: LOW turn-ON at 198 F, turn off at 190 ?
High FAN ON at 205 F, turn off around 196 ?

Is that too wide of a spread ?
stock thermostat. probable setpoint around 195 or so..
Tips, hints, advice or general abuse much appreciated.

Don't use CAR set points, find a truck to get your baseline settings from

Both Camaro and Corvette tunes I have seen use the fan at highway speeds depending on AC pressures/engine temp. There may be other cars to look at.... but still worth it to find a truck

If you put the low at 200F or less it's going to be on all the time once it's warmed up.

Do you have anything configured for A/C turn on?

I don't know WHAT stock set points are.
New install.
Took off mechanical fan. Installed Dorman fans, spec'ed for 2005 . Enabled FANS in HPTuners, need to plug in TEMPERATURE values. Ideally FANS will not be running at all when ambient temps, and normal road speed are adequate for cooling. In Alaska, I should think fan operation would be pretty seldom.

Alaska's one of the very few places where I'd be tempted to let the OE temp thresholds be.
In NYC, my fans are programmed:
( ON Low 219F off 213F ) ... ( ON HIGH 227F off 221F )
AC is on constantly in the summer, so AC PSI thresholds usually keep fans on 'Low' in stop'n'go.

Roughly at what (coolant) temp does the mechanical fan start moving meaningful amounts of air?
Something interesting I learned from this forum:I however use a 30sec delay.
