Default Endless TPS problems

Someone please help me out with this. It's a bone stock 2001 5.3. My TPS is going crazy. It doesn't do it every day, but it is so annoying. I have scan logged it. It will show that the throttle is open, even when it isn't, which causes my idle to go crazy - sometimes to 3000 RPMs. The reading will be anywhere between 0 all the way to 100 when it should be 0.

I have replaced the connector with the upgraded Delphi one that keeps the pins centered. I have also replaced the TPS itself with the upgraded Wells brand with the contactless, solderless internals.

It works for a week or two after I replace something, then it comes back. I don't know what else to do.

Does this sound like a ground wire problem? Can the ground wire be cut and relocated? Can the truck be tuned to run off the MAF alone, without the TPS temporarily?

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for anything.

If the TB blade is truly closed, why is the idle going up to 3000?

The TPS is activating the IAC I guess?

That IAC module is an easy swap.

The TPS is the problem. I can see it with HPT. Can I make the truck run off MAF only so it ignores the TPS?

To clarify, the. TPS signal is the problem. Not the TPS itself. Probably a bad ground or broken ground wire somewhere if I had to guess.
