Yep, that will make the shifts nice and crisp.

Well the flash went well, but the shifts aren't really that much more noticable, might have to up the shift pressure a little bit more. Still getting lots of KR (stock timing/fueling). What can I do to improve performance and eliminate the kr?

Fueling is the main issue of the KR, you need to adjust the PE modifier to fatten it up some down lower and I would also adjust the PE enable delay tables.

I have EFILive, I really wish I could post my tune up so you could see. In a nutshell though, the I6's already have knock from the factory, I left my timing stock cause my wife drives the TB more than me and she puts 87 in it. With 93 you may get away with a couple more degrees in the High octane PE table. The tps only reads 87% at WOT, thats just all it opens, mine is that way too. Next my PE modifiers were setup a bit lean on the low end and rich on the top end, I set my AFR (used my wideband), to 12.6-12.7 low and mid-range tapering up to 12.9ish past about 5000 rpms. I also changed the VVT cam position in PE mode and noticed some low end improvments, I had to lower those values rather than raise them. In that table, 0 is in the fully advanced position and numbers above 0 are retarding the cam. I played with with part throttle timing and helped milage some as well. I raised my rev limiter to 6700 I believe and removed the speed limiter (have had this big pig to 130).

Moving on to the transmission, I raised the base pressure some, 0'd out Tq mgt. I raised my shift vc. rpm for WOT to about 6400 1-2 and 6500 2-3.

Maybe that will help some!

Ryan
What did your tune do as far as mileage is concerned? Do they all have VVT?

I picked up about 2-3 mpg on the highway and All the TBs with the I6 have VVT on the Exhaust cam only.

Rhino79, thanks a lot for the free advice/help.

As you can see in this screen-shot the PE Modifier is zero'd below 5600rpms.

Should I just start adding to the rpms that have KR by 1 until KR is no longer shown?

As far as the PE Enable Delay it looks like I can modify the RPM and the TPS...or am i in looking the wrong area?

I actaully meant the PE AFR modifier. My factory PE vs. ECT is 12.6 but the modifiers were:
(STOCK)P.E AFR RPM Multiplier (Factor)
RPM Value
1200 1.000000
1600 1.023438
2000 1.023438
2400 1.023438
2800 1.023438
3200 1.023438
3600 1.023438
4000 1.007813
4400 1.015625
4800 1.031250
5200 1.023438
5600 0.953125
6000 0.953125
6400 0.953125

I left the PE vs. ECT at 12.6 but changed my multiplier table to:
LABELS P.E AFR RPM Multiplier (Factor)
RPM Value
1200 0.968750
1600 0.968750
2000 0.968750
2400 0.968750
2800 0.968750
3200 0.968750
3600 0.976563
4000 0.992188
4400 1.000000
4800 1.000000
5200 1.000000
5600 1.000000
6000 0.984375
6400 0.984375

My Stock Values in "Power enrich Mult vs RPM are similar to your stock values

I don't understand how to read the PE vs ECT...does that show actual AFR at normal operating temperature (176*f) is 12.5? Hmm..ok leave this table alone for now and lower the values on the Multiplier.

Exactly, whatever your ECT is when you enter PE is what AFR value it will reference. Then Based on RPM it multiplies it accordingly. I found that richening the mixture up below 5600 helped tremndously with my KR. I still have a bit when I am on 87, but nothing like it was.
