I am chiming in late. I logged our TB awhile back, thread is here GM tuning somewhere. Good ole rhino chimed in then too. My wifey's TB was kr on when ever you touched the freakin gas pedal. I have never messed with hers as I don't have a license to do so and she would never KNOWINGLY let me anyway. LOL
BUT since Bill is diving right in, KILL that decay like shannon points out. It is impossible to troubleshoot real kr with a slow decay rate. Since ALL TB/Envoy owners suffer kr, it leads me to believe alot of it is fake. I am not famiiar with newer pcm's either. Has GM snuck in burst as readable kr now? LOL You'd think so with that much kr. There has to be a flaw in the settings or sensor sensitvity. If that kr was TRUELY that bad, your piston tops would fall apart around 75K. Wifey's TB is at 110K. (2000 TB) Not saying we aren';t dealing with true kr, but I think the real is hidden by junk.
How many miles on the TB bill? I seafoamed Theresa's a month ago and it drives alot better, more responsive. I have wanted to scan it since the seafoam, I am willing to bet that responsiveness is less kr or less timing being taken away. Still too much kr though.

Yeah In EFILive I don't have any knock tables to mess with, but I will say that GM may have done a good job with the timing in PE mode cause with 93 I have reletively none. I drove about 160 miles today and put 89 in it instead of 87, and I swear I could tell a difference in driving, definetly feels better with better gas. I STILL run stock timing tables and I did change a couple of those modifiers I was talking about today, but did not get to log any data. I did however run a Titan 4x4 from about 75-115 and actually pulled him about a car length! I might get back out a bit later to go to the store, I'll try to log some data and post some results.

I did a search and came up with this thread. I also just recently picked up HPT. I've been doing more scanning than any changes. Here's an 03 TB with the I6 with 75K miles on it and running 87. Anyone else playing with it, or figure out the high KR?
Here's an almost dead stop to 75 run.
