Default Exhaust Leak?

I think that i have a small exhaust leak on the drivers side. When i am logging with hp tuners bank 1 is consistently about 2% leaner than bank 2. How much will this affect my tune and how much will this affect performance? Thanks

An exhaust leak will allow unmetered air to be drawn into the exhaust and give the O2 sensor a false signal...this could definitely have an effect on your tune and performance, especially if the leak is substantial.

I know that an exhaust leak will make the o2s read leaner which in turn will make the motor run a little richer. But is 2% enough to make a big difference? BTW, I can barely here the leak.

2% variance between banks doesn't signify an exhaust leak, that's just a normal variation, especially with it being the driver's bank on a naturally aspirated motor, very typical.

So its not a problem then that going to affect my tuning or performance?

Nope, not at all.

It's a problem when variations between the banks are significantly larger...
