Yes they will need to be extended but I always cut the sender wires anyway to thread them through the firewall so I dont have to cut such a big hole so its never been that big of a deal to me. The power/ground/illumination are long enough.

Okay, thanks for the info. That's exactly how the GlowShit gauges are. I wonder if they are made by the same company or something. The gauges look similar, and the sending units look exactly the same. Hopefully you guys keep having success with the ProSports.

Inconsistent readings, sending unit failures, multi-color display malfunctions, very poor tech support. I was given totally incorrect information on 2 different phone calls to them regarding their widebands. (GlowShit)

Slight thread revival but was wanting to see if anyone had feedback on the Prosport gauges. I am usually not one to skimp on things but I need to pick up a boost gauge and a fuel pressure gauge (already have an AEM wideband).

Looking at Prosport, Autometer and AEM. AEM I know is quality stuff but damn they are proud of their stuff. If it's worth it I will spend the $400 for two gauges and a pillar mount but if I could get away with spending half and get the same performance I am all for it.

Need to look into the Autometer more, they look like a true and trusted option and are cheaper than AEM.

Also is there any huge disadvantage to using a mechanical boost gauge versus an electric except having to run the hose up to the gauge?

I prefer mechanical boost gauges. Cheaper, easier to install, and not glitchy.

I had one electric boost gauge give me problems. Occasionally on startup, for whatever reason, the polarity of the gauge reversed. So instead of showing 18in hg at idle, it showed 18 psi boost at idle, and swept backwards while driving......

I have a Autometer nexus gauge set up and the boost gauge comes with a map and has worked flawlessly for years

Nice, I am looking at these two. Hopefully order in the next few days. Not in a huge rush as long as they are there at the house when I get back from work in a few weeks

Clean and simple.. I don't like real flashy stuff.

Fuel Pressure.

And from what I can gather looks like I need this for the fuel pressure gauge. I am thinking 6' will be long enough to go from the pilar to the fuel line?
