Yes, I know but I have both so it's not a big deal.

I wounder if the alcohol content sensor pid will show up in an EFILive Scan after I install the sensor like my Cruze does??? If I could always check for content with my V2 after filling up, then I could just have 6 or so tunes for various amounts saved on my V2 and just flash in the closest one for the content. Humm...

Why not buy a used PCM for $50 with the stepper motor option in it, and flash in a van OS for 12592618. EFI Live has made the CAX file so you can lower your min pulse width for very large injectors, it has flex fuel, a 4l80e option, and a 3 bar COS. Thats what I have in my truck, and will run that in my Chevelle when it is done.

That's an option, but would be a lot of work too I think. Pretty sure there would be a lot of repining to make it work as I believe a lot of the pin outs are different between the 2 computers.

Well all this time I didn't think I had the flex fuel tables in my OS but it turns out I do. Upgrading from the old HPT beta to 2.4 shows me some tables I've never seen before.

So I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the same sensor/pigtail the OP posted here and wire that bitch in at the same time I upgrade my fuel system. I will probably have to add a meth kit if I'm going to do this.

I just got a PCM out of an 04 GTO today and gonna try and swap to the 1mg PCM with a FF COS3 tune another member made for me. He seems to think it will work, so when I get a chance, I'm gonna give it a try too.

Cool man. I'll be interested to see how it turns out. Will you be running meth on your truck as well?

I get such horrible gas mileage with E85 it is making me want to run strait pump 91 or a mix of the two. But being limited to only driving the truck in town sucks. If I want to take the truck out of town and away from the E85 pumps, I'm obviously going to need a meth system for safety above 15psi. So I might add the ethanol sensor, add meth and only fill up with E85 when I'm headed to the track or dyno. I don't know though. E85 and meth together seems super overkill to me.

Yeah, I have a D.O. meth kit on my truck but i just run -20 WWF in it. That's my plan too, 93 on the street, then fill it up with E85 for the track or "special outings" lol. Might quick flash it with my V2 for a tune with more timing, but I shouldn't have to worry about my fuel % since the FF should be accounting for that. Would be nice if the tune had a table for adding more timing with E85. My Cruze does, it commands more torque when it see's higher % more alcohol in the fuel.
