Get rid of wester's tune and get a tune in person?
Here is my dilemma. I have a wester's tune in my truck. I feel I can get me performance and mileage out of my truck. How do I know this. Because I had a wait4me tune in the truck for a while before I put a updated wester's tune back in the truck. The wait4me tune had more pull up the hills around here in MO. I found a tuner in Columbia, MO. But I have never heard of him, but he has tuned trucks, but mainly cars. He uses HP tuners. Should I get rid of my wester's tune for a tune in person? Would I be able to get more horsepower and gas mileage if I had it done in person?

He is a tuner in Columbia, MO. Its actually him and two other guys. He checks the timing and the afr also when he tunes. He doesn't have a dyno, but he tunes while he drives. And he charges $200 with free updates. So what do you guys think? Go ahead and do it. I don't know how much more horsepower and mileage I can get over a mail order tune.

Good price... DO IT.
DozerDan tuned mine by driving it around and its amazing the difference. A Personal tune allows the tuner to tune specifically for your setup. That is a lot better than a mail order tune and I don't recall ever seeing a mail order for under $300.
