Default Ground connection locations

Is there a list anywhere that shows where all the important ground connectors are located at for all the different models of Chevy / GMC pickups?

So far on my truck I have found 3 ground connections... one coming from the negative battery cable to the passenger side cylinder head, another coming from the body to the driver's side cylinder head, and another under the driver's side floor board coming out of a wiring harness and connects to the frame.

I heard the ECM has it's own ground wire too towards the front of the truck but so far on mine I have not spent time looking for that one yet. (My truck is a 2011 Silverado 5.3L Ext Cab, 2WD)

Just curious is anybody know of a handy list that tells people where to find the ground connectors so they can be cleaned and maintained since ground connections are very important.

Factory service manual

https://www.ebay.com/sch/Manuals-Lit...Display%3A6.2L for example

You get SO MUCH MORE that way than by begging

Yes the ones that say "factory manual" for around $15 are the real deal

I was simply asking a question which does not constitute "begging"

Since I posted this question, I found an online manual at no cost as in free!

There's no "list" that I've ever seen for such things. What you asked for is 4 full pages of the factory wiring schematic, at least it is in mine. Kinda abuncha work for somebody to do for you.

Glad you found the FSM for your truck for free. That's amazing. You'll find SO MUCH useful stuff in it, you won't believe it, unless you've had others for other cars before. Even for $15, it's the best money I ever spent on ANY car I've ever owned. Butt of course free is better.

None to worry... I can handle it myself.

The free online manual can be found at https://charm.li/Chevy%20Truck/2011/...2WD%20V8-5.3L/

In case you need to hire someone to work on this on your ride

I see; so, NOT the FSM.

Oh well, if it has what you're looking for, then that's the main thing.

I still STRONGLY recommend getting a copy of the FSM. There is SO MUCH useful info in there, besides all the wiring diagrams (which are worth $15 by themselves, the FIRST TIME you need to use them), it's simply the best tool you'll ever own.
