Default had my 4.8 tuned

last week when I bought my 2010 1500 I put on a k&n filter and a flow master and it dynoed 224hp then with a hp tune 241hp&242tq on a 87octain.it feels better just not a whole lot better.but now I can do a burnout in the snow.lol also he never raised my rev limiter so I only go to 5900rpm.should I move it up?

Yes, I would move it up.The 4.8s make power in the top of the rpm band.

details/my weight w/driver4180 3.42 31" tire but next week a 28" feels like a 16.0 because of my horrid 60'.$1150 for 4.56's in both rears and maybe a conv.whats your 60' and weight?I'm not looking for a screemer but 15.0 would be nice.

dont know my weight, it is an ext cab. My 60' is 2.2 but I am spinning a few feet. I cant stall it up at all because it blows the tires off(street tires), but if I ever spend the money on some slicks I think I can get a little more out of it. I need gears bad, and a locker. On tahoe 20s(weighed 84bs each), and full street weight, spare tire, tailgate, stereo, everything, it went 15.1. Took off some weight, adjusted the tune some, and put on 16s and went mid 14s. My tune is a dual tune 89/93. If I was you I would move it up to at least 6-6100. There are many out there revving them way past that.

My rclb ran 14.90 @ 92mph. It did it with no cats, catback, mild tune and 4.56 gears on 30.5" tires

The tune kept some tm for shifts. Shift points were set at 6200 1-2 and 6100 2-3. Hope it helps. good luck
