i might not fit in here but im on a 5.3 on just 3.73s and 30.5 " tire ran 2.18 60' and 9.3 1/8mile.. u should put a 3200 circle d stall.. that should take care of ur low end... and 4.10s all around.. i bought mine for 270 front and rear.... after stall and gears im going to track thursday to c if she improved.. hoping for under 2s on the 60'

I'm doing a 2.2 on street tires and peg leg in an ext cab, I think you guys can bring down that 60' some. Your 4.8 cant be that weak, I am only running an intake, full exhaust, and tune, stock trans/converter, and 3.42 gears. A 212/218 and a converter should bring in some low end power, but I would be looking into some tune adjustments as well.

so u don't think the full exhaust it helping your 60'.I tried preloading the stock conv. and just stabbing the gas 2.51 is the best.and thats just leaving off idle.what would u do different as far as driving goes?

pulling the about the same 60' with 30" tires due to no wheel spin. I leave at idle with some wheel spin with the 26" tires, I cant stall it up any because it just blows the tires off, even the 26" tires are just street tread, no drag radials. I am going to buy some drag radials, then I can bring the rpms up into the powerband a little and I should be able to lower it a little more. I assume your 60' is suffering because of the extra weight of the 4x4, but it should be fairly close in weight to my ext cab.

I know you want to save your trans but did your tuner remove torque management? (Your tuner having a tuner car background may not have done this) That could help your off the line times if it hasn't already been removed.
