Question Hand Held Programmer for 08 Sierra Denali

Does anyone make a programmer for the 2008 Sierra Denali? I've searched on Summit and Jegs websites among others and can't seem to find one. I've seen programmers for the Yukon Denali but none for the Sierra. WTF? these are the same motors right, so what gives? My new truck hauls A$$ but the trans seems to have a serious "cotton-shoft " shift so I wanted to firm the shift up a bit.

You may do better just buying programming software like EFILive.

It will give you full control of your application. If you dont like the shifts, then you can download the file from your transmission and just flash it with your firmer shifts.

I usually give out free tunes for the trucks when they order efilive.

You have a very fun motor to work with.

Thanks Guys. I have a friend with a Corvette who is a wizard with EFILive. I'm going to talk to him about it but it sounds like the way to go.

So what would be the best software/programmer kit for me and what would it cost?
(I have a Volant CAI and I'm thinking of exhaust and maybe later on a cam kit and then a TVS blower - you get the picture, right?)

I am biased, but i truely believe we are the best for your application. We dont charge for custom operating systems for your boost if you decide on the TVS, and we dont charge for our Virtual ve tables that allow you to tune for anything up to a 3bar map sensor for your boost. There are several other important advantages. One being that we have SERIAL wideband input so you get 100% accurate wideband integration into the software so you can set up your autotuning without worrying about voltage variences seen by just using a 0-5 output from the wideband. You can call me or click on the left sponser tab on efilive to direct you to more info. I would be glad to answer your questions. If not feel free to email me directly at jessebubb@yahoo.com I can walk you thru any thing you might need to do.

Sounds good. Trust me, I'm a believer in EFI Live, because I've watched my friend with a C5 Corvette doing some serious tuning with it and getting real results. His 6spd vette was running in the 6.90 sec range in the 1/8 (on a really crappy surface) with just a home made Ram Air, headers, Drag Radials and EFI Live tuning. I've spoken to him and he also has experience with HP Tuners (from another friend who has a new Z06) and he says that he prefers EFILive. I will be in touch soon. Thanks.
