My truck just started throwing a code for faulty knock sensor
It is 2001 Chevy Silverado 5.3L 2wd

Just curious if someone could help me find the part number for the knock sensor harness. Preferably AC Delco.

So far the part number for the actual sensor is 2133521 (AC Delco). I will need 2 of these correct??

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I actually just finished my install two weekends ago. I already threw out the packaging or I could have given you the number. You definatly need two sensors and the wiring harness. If you go to a dealership they will have the harness in stock (usually). Also make sure you have plenty of RTV to build a dam around the back knock sensor to prevent water from entering the cavity (This is usually why they fail). I would also RTV the front and rear rubber plugs to help prevent water intrusion. Its just added insurance.

With the sensors remember:
Do NOT drop them.
Do NOT over torque them.

They are very sensitive and get their feelings hurt pretty easy.
