How do i do a case relearn. I found this in the scan tool but im unsure on how to use it. This is all i have to do to tune for the 3000 convertor or is there more?

try the base one first and see how that reacts then try the second one and drive it down the drive way and back and see if it stalls

Thanks man. I will try it in the morning after everyone is awake. I will get some logs up when it will idle.

Is there a correct way to do a case relearn? I havent done this and im sure that it needs to be done.

For the case learn, connect the scan tool to the truck. Open the case learn, the parameters that are being monitored should be green. When you are ready press F3 or start, then you have 10 sec to bring the RPM up before a limiter will cut the injectors for 1/2 second. Let off as soon as they cut then let the truck idle for 15 sec before shutting it down. There is a description of what to do on the case learn tool also.

I will do that tomorrow also. I found it but didnt really understand how to. Thanks guys for all the help. I just want to get this thing so that i can do autove and start getting the tune dialed in.

Here is a log i just did. I wasnt logging my AFR but i will next time. It felt pretty good but it seemed like it was hitting the rev limiter. Also it idles ok but when i put it in gear it wants to die.

you need to log rafig and rafip go to efilives forum and search these two..once you do these it should not want to do die..you will need to select the right pids for this
