hesitation/misfiring after first drive everyday

$225 for an intake manifold gasket? Thats alot of moola! When i replace my knock sensors they where only like $50 bucks

Labor included with a warranty. Thats what we charge.

Start the truck when the engine is stone cold and spray some carb cleaner around the base of the manifold....if the idle changes thats your culprit.
ill do the 10minute job myself. ill try the carb cleaner test. thanks.

Check and make sure that your fuel pressure regulator isn't leaking also...it's located in the center of the driver's side fuel rail. Pull the vacuum hose off of it and make sure it's dry. If there's fuel in that hose, the fp reg is leaking and needs to be replaced. A leaking fp reg will cause the vehicle to run rich and give it a flooding type of condition after it sits and is cranked over.

hrm that makes a lot of sense. i will check that out as soon as i can, thanks a ton!
