I have a 91 that I just changed the gears form a 3.08 to a 4.10, and the spedo is all screwed up now . What can I do to get it calibrated?

Go to the dealer and ask them to do it...it'll probably cost $20

If you have the 700R4 tranny you can buy the correct speedometer gear at an autoparts store and install it yourself....

 

dock, didnt you just put a new gear in the tranny? for the speedo? or did you ever get the tail shaft off?

 

Yea I put the gear for the electronic pickup. The gear is the same it is corrected by the computer it is not gear driven. The first dealer I tried said all they can do is 99 and up. I PM ranwalk to see if they can do it.
