Default How do I convert my 06 silverado from DBW to Cable drive?

The aftermarket really supports cable drive TB's so I am wondering what all would be involved in the swap besides the tb, especially any pc mods and throttle peddle swap? Thanks, Derek

Just get a NNBS 90mm DBW TB and a Dr X harness. I don't know what would be involved in the swap, but probably more trouble than it's worth.

I already have a fully ported TBSS intake and fully ported 87mm tb but its still not going to be enough I don't think, I'll be over 600 at the flywheel but if its a real pita I'll leave it alone

What setup are you running behind it? Stock48 on here is running mid nines through his stock 78mm TB, so unless you are going to be pushing more power than that, I'm sure a ported 87 can keep up. The only thing above that is the FAST 102, but I could be mistaken.

im Naturally aspirated, so does anyone know how to do this? ,Yeah its pretty hard to believe that the aftermarket hasn't made a 92+mm billet Throttle body, there's got to be someone that's done this swap before

Well in EFI Live they have a section for changing this stuff.

System -> Vehicle Platform Options (see attached)

BUT

I have not seen anyone who know how it works or what it does... Also you would loose the cruise control, not to mention alot of the idle functions since a cable tb has a IAC sensor and the DBW does not use IAC.... Not to mention how to handle all the wiring...
