Driving under cruise conditions AFR is about 14.5-14.9, and under moderate accelleration AFR is 13.2-13.7. Light Acceleration AFR is 14.2 or so. Im happy with that. Now how do I get it to run that way with the MAF hooked up? After seeing how well it drives without it, I can see it needs to be gotten rid of. Thanks, J

WOAH!!!, so correct me if im wrong here, all you did was disconnect your maf, and the truck ran great?? "idled wierd for a few seconds and smoothed out"

Just FYI, the IAT is in the MAF, so you for sure don't want to simply disconnect it and run it that way all of the time, especially on boosted applications. If you're going MAFless, you'll need to wire in a stand alone IAT/

Syclone, as for disconnecting the MAF on your truck, there's almost no way in heck it would work to simply disconnect the MAF without tuning the VE. He simply got lucky that he had the VE tuned close to what it needed to be to run those numbers. Who knows though, disconnect it and log what happens...

i have ran all day today, with the maf disconnected,...i took a needle nose pliers and pulled the little iat out of my maf.

plugged that little iat back on, and laid it next to my k&n filter.

im after mileage, thats it.

before ltft were in the +8 to + 10%
before stft were in the +4 to + 6%

after ltft were the +0 to + 0%
after stft were in the -3 to - 10%

much betrer mileage from the big truck with 35" tires.
