Been running a wideband daily for two years w/o any problems.
Exhaust leaks between the engine and WBO2 or even after it (leaking header collector, etc.) will skew the A:F readings.

Not using a LC-1 but a PLX M-300. For its controller (pack of smokes size with digital A:F readout) I originally had it mounted on top of the steering column but then moved it to a custom made bracket off the center radio stack area.
For more help, I'd do some poking around and asking about hook-up and mounting the LC-1 on the EFILive forum.
