Default How many credits needed??

How many credits needed to tune my 06 silverado? I have a local shop telling me i need to pay for 4 credits for them to dyno tune my truck does that sound right? Thanks.

2 credits. The NNBS trucks have to have 4 credits because you have to tune the engine and transmission controller with seperate credits.

Unless they are doing a 2-bar SD tune. That would be 4 credits.

bar is a measure of pressure. 2-bar would allow your PCM to 'see' the positive manifold pressure from your blower. A custom operating system is used, cost = 2 credits.

no, it's a "use" chage from the software mfg.
