hp 5.3 tune
So i tried to figure this hp tuner out and not having any luck so far.
My truck is a 02 rcsb5.3, a4, 3.23, cai, dynomax catback it has run a best of 15.13 at 92 mph at a weight of 4600 lbs with me manualy shifting it. so far my tuning capabilty sucks. I am not even sure if tq managment is on or off, because it barely peels out.
Sorry for the poor grammer but any help is needed here.
i have attach my stock tune and one that ive adapted fom another tune i found.

personally I would've want to pull 4-7* of timing at 90-100*F iat temps but thats me.
High & low octane tables seem to be a little on the low side at wot as well, I've heard the 4.8's & 5.3's can take a decent amount of timing but im no expert in that aspect of it, just what I've heard.

If you go under the spark control-spark advance tab just look at your modifiers like IAT where at 80* its pulling 1* of spark at 90* its pulling 2* and at 100ish its pulling 4*
Then on top of that the IAT mult is set to pull more than 100% of that 4* meaning it might be pulling 5 or 6 or 7* depending on your rpm.
Add to that you have low timing in your high & low octane tables where you'd normally be at wot=very low final timing=costing power.

Here ya go, try this one. Nothing special, just some timing advanced and shifting increases (basic tune upgrades). Most importantly, if you like it, use the compare feature in HPT to see what was changed and try to learn from it. Careful with your trans it doesn't like to shift down from 4th to 2nd. Sure it feels good, but even small HP will kill it. (hence TQ management)
If anythings feels off base STOP and take a step back.
