you get 8 credits with your purchase...your bro's 98 would use 2 & your truck woudl use 2 which would leave you with 4 credits to do what you'd like with.

About to order one myself. 2004 Silverado 4.8 5 speed RCSB. Looking very forward to it. I do have a question, I have a computer installed in my truck behind the seat already, and I have a fold down from the ceiling 14" LCD monitor for that computer. I want to install the Suite on that computer that is permanently in my truck, but I also want to be able to use the Suite on my laptop for doing other peoples vehicles. So how can I legally do that? I emailed the HPtuner guys but being weekend I haven't heard back on it. Though they did respond to one of my earlier emails during the weekend, I was impressed. Kudos to hptuners.

When are they gonna have the price for the scan utility only? It says $TBA on their site. I know some people that may just be interested in the scanner.

You should be able to install the software on both machines just fine. The license information is stored in the little box that connects between the OBD-cable and the USB cable, not the host PC.

Yah, I've got the software on several computers, I see it as being a non issue for the most part.

That's very cool. I didn't think the little box stored the credits, I thought it was all done in the software. That will work. I'm ready to order! Thanks for the response. I look forward to participating here as I learn and enjoy tuning.
