Do any of them offer a free tune with their programs??? I think it would be easier to take a tune and adjust it to fit me rather than starting from scratch.

Is there anyone using HP or EFI around Cincinnati Ohio or Northern Kentucky??????

Thanks,
Chris
If you go with EFILive , I'd happy to give you something to start with. I'd also, HIGHLY recommend getting a wide band O2 also, It's the only real way to know were your A/F is and makes fine tuning it a breeze. And with the specials we have right now, it's very affordable .

If you're looking at getting into diesel tuning, then IMO, EFILive is the only way to go. They have a big head start and very large user base and are doing some awesome things with the Duramax. We are also the only software that currently supports the LBZ and LMM Duramaxs.

I love my HPT. The biggest factor for me was you can license model years or what ever they support and arent VIN limited. If you want to tune all 2001 sierras, F bodys, etc, you can for like $300. Same with all the other years. They also have upgrade credits where you license so many cars and they count towards the whole model/ year group. Plus you get the 8 credits to start with which gives you many possibilities right from the start.

Both will get the job done.

In the end you won't be dissappointed with either.

When was that .pdf created? Looks as if a few things are out of date.

Well, I dont know for sure but I thought EFI had support for the Colorado/Canyons. But maybe they don't. I'm sure you guys know what you're doing. and if it was wrong I'm sure somebody who was sure would let you know

I'm a big fan of the way HP Tuners' Editor page is layed out in comparison to EFI Live's Editor. I always end up looking over or missing tables to edit when using EFI Live.
