reading your other thread...just go backwards as far as troubleshooting goes, how about your seat of the pants gauge? Has it always felt like it had no topend? Just now all of a sudden or you just never knew that it was such a dog up top? 5.7 in 2004? Motorswap? It sounds mechanical, who did your base tune that you are running? Yourself? Clogged cats ruined all of my power range.

thanks al i'll send the file. my wife who drives it more says its been like this for a while she started complaining about it one day but i said "its ok aint nuthin wrong with it" lol. i've been doing all the tuning on it. i've got the 1bar sd going right now cause it will bearly idle with the maf connected. funny thing i should mention is my wife race snakeeater one night when i was with him and she had it at half throttle and was staying right beside him just the same. and this was with tires that were 30lbs heavier.

yep used redhardsupra's table and everything but would not idle well so i went to sd and it ran better throttle response was better and everything. i'm thinking about useing tr6 plugs probably get some tommorrow. i'm running about 10.3-10.4:1 compression.

you aren't FI rght? So no big deal. I bet ya though if you change those lower hertz settings back to stock it would idle fine. Doesn't matter...sd is working good for ya I guess....or is it? Did you have all this upper rpm problem before going sd?

yeah its n/a but i've read some guys going to the tr6's and doing good with them. thats what snake eater ran in his 5.3 with the same cam because of nitrous but when there was no nitrous it still screamed. and when i'm at idle like when its bone cold i can fire it up and when it gets to about say 160*or so the exhaust starts to smell like eggs or sulfur.
