My guess is its missing about 100HP that should be there but just isn't. We can do the cats but its gonna get LOUDER. I think we should get the MAF back on and get it tuned right. Also maybe advance the cam 4* since you won't run it up to 6800rpms. LOL. My 5.3 stock bottom end held 7500rpm shifts for a long time and never blew apart at over 8 grand. We should really work on the tune.

 

check the tuning section for my version of tweaking trims with the maf, Ive used it on several vehicles including FI and it works well.

 

i don't see what the maf would have to do with it i've done what people have told me to do and it ALWAYS ran like pure ***. remember snake with this cam in your truck it would bearly idle with the maf but mine idles great with a once in a while hicup.

 

how do you go back to maf use after loading the whole 1 bar sd thing. cause it rewrites the ecm it done't just load the tune up so how do i get it back?????????

 

Did you save any of your tunes before the 1bar upgrade, you should be able to rewrite entire with a old none 1bar, or down load a stock 5.7 tune from horist site and start over. But I don't have a two bar or anything so I'm not sure.

 

so why would the maf running be better than the sd? just asking??
