I am putting my tune together for my new setup in my rcsb. Specs are gonna be cammed 5.3, master power 70 12-15lbs. Trans is a 4l80e with hd-2 and one of Circle-d's 278mm conveters. I will run the truck n/a for a little while then go with a 2 bar map sd tune. I was unable to find an 80e segment for my OS so I'm going to run the relay mod and shift the 80e on the 60e tune.I know that I shouldnt lock this converter at wot so what should I change to be sure that doesnt happen? So far I have copy pasted my trans tune from my ccsb with 80e to this tune. Would some of you guys with Hp tuners look at this and give me some advice?99 RCSB Gomer tune.hpt

 

I don't use HPT, but can't you just send the file to them, and they will send you back the segment swap?

 

This has been tried...there isnt an 80e segment for my 99 OS, so I will run the relay mod. i just need help to make sure I dont burn up a converter that isnt rated for WOT lockup. i think I know what to do but I'm unsure

 

just set the lockup in 3rd to 255 from 40% and up throttle position..
