Default HPTuners - What else?

Hi all, going to be purchasing the HPtuners VCM Suite Pro version, is there anything else I need? I am planning on hooking up a wideband, do I need to get the plug (MPVI Pro EIO)?

TIA

You "CAN" hook up the wideband without the "PRO" version by going through the EGR system, but It is WAY easier just to buy the pro....

If you get EFILive V2 cable, and a LC-1 WB, you can plug the serial out put form the LC-1 directly in to the V2 controller and log serial WB data instead of just analog. The V2 will also display the current WB reading right on the display screen. It's a very nice setup. I can hook you up with a package deal if you like.

The MPVI Pro comes with the plug for EIO.
Which Wideband are you getting?

It has been suggested to stay away from the Innovate stuff, so far looking like the NGK AFX.

Apparently there are (were?) issues with the LC-1 and LM-1s? Do you have any other suggestions recommendations?

Edit: Thanks for the offer KB, already ordered the Pro via HPtuners.

I and others have had bad luck with the LC1. Don't know that I have ever read anything bad about the LM1.

The LC1 probable out sells every other WB by 5 to 1, because it's the cheapest. When there is that many more being sold, your bound to have more fail. BTW, every LC-1 that I know have failed, Innovate has repaired or replaced, even if there where out of warranty.

no voltage offsets with serial cable. If i could do it again i would do an lc-1 and plug it into efilive. My analog works ok, but always reads a bit different than my serial gauge that in the truck. Which makes fixing the ve table a pita...

I'm using PLX SM-AFR. It has a box mounted under the hood that is the actual WB controller. You can use their AFR Gauge, or their OLED displays to show the data along with the 0-5v analog signal.
