HPTuners worth it for minor adjustments?

If you are buying HPT used, have the seller send you a screen shot of his "credits available" (under License Info). Here you will see if you will need to buy extra credits or not. Each unit, wether Standard or Pro, comes with 8 initial credits, how they are used is total up to the original purchaser's discretion. No, you can not recover spent credits, you would need to purchase new ones.

Thanks so much for the reply, I'm a bit of a Noob to these programs and to LSx, but not a noob to tuning EFI. (standalone)
Any idea aprox. cost of credits?
Also, I read on here that the 99-00 computers have issues, but the question wasn't really addressed. I am installing a turbo on a 99 2500 6.0 Silv. and would like to use the OE ECM, but not if it will be problematic for an FI application.
...and yes I performed a search already, but found nothing concrete/current.
