Hypertech tune = truck will not start!
#11
I had a jet programmer on my 2001 a long time ago and it did the same thing... I had used it for about a year then went to change the tire size and it would turn over but not fire... I took it to the dealer and had it flashed there. Never used the jet again

Seems like it has been hit on a little bit but hopefully you can get your money back and get a real tune. If the truck starts and runs it won't be much different then stock and you waisted the $ on the programmer. Where with a custom tune you will gain a lot and should be able to avoid issues such as not starting like this.

**UPDATE**
I went ahead and bought HP Tuners VCM Suite. When I received it, i hooked it up to my truck and read the stock file then compared my stock file with a few other's that i downloaded on the internet. The ONLY changes i made to my stock file was setting "VATS" to none, and i made adjustments for tire height. I uploaded the new file to my PCM and 30 seconds later my truck started right up and ran like nothing ever happened! I was freaking stoked!! I have lots of learning to do and i cant wait to see what all this software can do!
