No, it never surges...it just barely fires up and just lopes at about 200-300 rpm. Sometimes it will catch up with its self if i let it go, but it takes a good 10 seconds to do. However, if it does it, and i immediately shut down, then immediately fire up again.....it starts fine. Weird. Basically this is how it works. Truck has been parked overnight in the garage. I get in and turn the key. It barely fires up so i instantly shut off, then instantly turn the key again and it fires up fine. If i dont shut down, it will lope around 200-300 rpm untill it catches up and starts to idle fine. It does this on maybe 25% of cold start ups. Never when its either warm outside or the engine is already warm. I was leaning toward a fuel pump issue originally, but that isnt it. I thought maybe it had to do with the questionable data in the injector tables that i used for the siemen 60lb injectors. Then i just gave up trying to figure it out because ofthe simple solution of just shutting off immediately and firing it back up. I would love to figure out what it is though. I thought Jessie may have some ideas. I didnt mean to F your thread up Corey....sorry.
