At first I only did 1st gear and realized it got better at stops but coming to the stop it would surge like that. Decreased the other gears and it's just dandy now.
Yes and alot of times the throttle cracker table can be a little too aggresive in some tunes and alot of tuners will actually just zero out the whole cracker table.

My Cracker is 0'd out but the follower I took down to .003 in 1st .008 up to 14mph and .010 for 3rd/4th.
I was told to just decrease it and not 0 it out. but it sounds like his tuner didn't even touch it.
Don't know who the tuner is but it sounds like he may not have tuned for a converter before?

Also make sure he adjusted the PWm min to 90 and max to 100. That helped it lock a lot better.

Yeah it doesn't sound like he did a very good tune at all.

Which definately sucks when **** like that happens, people pay for what they think is a decent tune and then their car or truck runs like crap because come to find out the place you took actually didn't know their *** from a hole in the ground.

Wish this guy was closer to me I would have fixed him up with a good street tune and it would have been done right.......and cheaper than what he paid.

I wouldn't bash the tuner. Especially when you don't know the guy.
He could be great at tuning the average mod. But then someone comes in with something he's never done and it takes a few tries to get it right.

Just let the guy know to adjust the PWM min max, Make sure it isn't locking in 3rd at 70tps+. and decrease the throttle follower decay in each gear until it stops surging.

Once he has that done you may run across some other slight issues, but see where that puts you first.

I only know this cuz i JUST got done messing with all of this stuff.

thanks for the info guys. I hate to say it but, the tuner is a very very well known shop, all over 5.0 and mustang world mags. I'm thinking they seen it was a pretty much stock truck and just changed up a few things in the tune, didnt want to waste time on a stock truck!! I went to the drag strip tonight and ran the best of a 9.4 at 74 in the 1/8. I wasnt hooking that great on some old street tires I had but it was pulling hard untill the vertor locked up. I wish there was a tuner around close that could take a look at my tune and fix everything. I'd really like to know what all they did and didnt do.

Everything I mentioned in the post above is about all he should need to do. you do NOT want your converter locking at WOT. sounds like he didn't touch any of your TCC settings.
I forgot to adjust my WOT tcc lock up when I put mine in.
