With it disabled the modeling goes solely off of IAT vs complex that integrates IAT and ECT this is better because the IAT seems to become heatsoaked very easily in the stock location and doesnt allways represent what the intake charge temp actually is nor does it respond fast enough to changes in temp.

Are you using the maf?
Do you have a 2bar map?
where is the iat located exactly?
So is this only for guys running in SD? I still run a MAF tune but i relocated my IAT sensor to just before the intake (after the blower and after the I/C). I also used an open air element IAT sensor that was recommended for FI setups to calculate IATs faster. It protrudes into the pipe about 1/3 of the way.

cylinder charge temp bias vs airflow: should be set to 1 so it takes into account ect and iat evenly.
And that is all thats needed to make the correction? I guess i would need to find that setting in EFILive.

Anyone can use it but its especially helpful with those in SD that have to retune constantly when the temp and baro changes alot. Ive heard that it reduces alot of the wide swing in fueling which is always good.

No 2bar.
IAT has been relocated to the top of the intake manifold, right before the air enters the runner. No heatsoak, temps are always about 10° over ambient, might go 20° over after long WOT runs, and drop back down in seconds to +10°.
Oh yeah, it does heatsoak with the engine off, of course.
Sounds too me like its something else then since the modeling is disabled.
There are alot of changes based of iat alone so this is just one of them there are enrichment and timing tables also, could be one of those.
Ill take a look at the tune if you want.
Send me the logs showing the differences your talking about.
What year is the pcm?

The tuner must have disabled the complex model with the IAT relocation.
