I tried to merge onto a local highway last week from about a 60 or so mph roll and couldn't even overtake this little Asian lady in her 10 year old Hyundai, lol.
I definitely need to tweak that, haha. (I have stock height tires and 3.73's FWIW)

As for the AC clutch:
Stock setting was OFF @ 5250, ON @ 5000.
I lowered mine 2000 rpms to 3250 OFF and 3000 ON.
Even though I never steady cruise any higher than 2000 or rpm's, I didn't want to go any lower and have the AC kicking on & off too much.

By saying "you do not tune them to shift in OD @ WOT" are you saying you prevent them from shifting into OD altogether, or just retain the stock setting?

I "think" (not 100% sure) that my Camaro's 3>4 shift MPH is set artificially high so that it never shifts into OD if the car is at WOT.

On my truck I didn't change the stock setting of 5200 on the 3>4 shift, but in all honesty I doubt I'd ever get this truck moving fast enough to fully wind out 3rd gear (Drive) anyway.

I mean I set the a stock 60E not to shift into overdrive at WOT (wide open throttle)
I let them go to 3rd and lock the converter at a certain MPH at WOT but not go into od

Thanks for the replies Wheatley. That's what I thought you meant, but I don't like to assume too much.

It's ok, if i could get it stay hooked it would go faster. But the hotckis leafs allow me to hook then they bounce back and i lose traction a bit then it grabs again. But in any event she will have a 6.0l by this winter so who knows what the 5.3 would have done.

I think your A/C settings are alittle low, should be right around 4800 for cutoff JMO, good luck.
