installed long tubes now o2s not working

Default installed long tubes now o2s not working

i just installed long tubes with 3 in y pipe yesterday i took my truck out today and i got a check engine light now saying bank 1 and 2 o2 sensors not working are the sensors dead or should i take them out and clean them and see if that works from all the stuff burning off inside or is the senors bad

you need to have your tuner delete your rear o2 sensor codes. they just tell if your converters are working correctly

its sensors 1 the rears are already deleted sorry i forgot to mention that

theres no way they'd die within a day.... they're either not connected up properly or the harness has been melted along side the headers..

i checked there hooked up i unhooked them and hooked them back up and there not even close to touching the header truck has 105,000 i think there orignal

it comes up saying that neither o2s are working im going to try to pull them out and clean them see if that does it

swap the ones that were in the back up front assuming they have the same connector. Mine were the same and when one died I just threw one of the rear ones up front.

my 2000 had different connectors, but you might get lucky and do what scott did
