mine done that too

the O2s are so close to air it makes it think its lean
so you are extremely rich ...but not rich in the good way LOL

you'll be fine
if you can, clamp some extensions on so the o2s arent reading all that clean air

I would not drive it at all. But if you have to get it to the shop, I would put it in open loop and baby it there.

I think Kevin said to unplug both sets of O2's to keep it drivable and for it not to smoke like crazy, he had the same problem going to the muffler shop...

no prob, i drove mine open headers for about 10 miles, but it never seemed like it wanted to turn off. driving with open ypipe though is much better..

Arise dead thread 1slow, what kind of O2's did you end up using? I have heard the rear vette sensors will work. Im wondering about the rear Camaro sensors.

My fix was the downstream Vette sensors, Bosch 13111's. I had to swap the pig tails as it was not a direct fit for me. Problem was the stockers were to exhaust temp dependent and my headers dissapated to much heat causing the 02's to switch VERY slowly. The Bosch 13111's have a better heater element and are not as much exhaust temp dependent as the stockers.

Im not sure about the F-Body cat sensor? Thoes guys that have a problem use the Bosch 13111's also. I dont know if its cause the heater is better or they just need the cable lengh as there downstream is to short to use as a upstream sensor?

Just for search purposes ... you can unplug the front o2's and drive all you want with open headers.

With open headers, the fresh air comes back in and hits the o2's making the PCM think it's running very lean, thus dumping more and more fuel, resulting in +25 ltrims and low o2 readings.
