For a 98 there is no other choice in tuning. Only DST is available.

You can remove torque management. There is no wizard or easy to follow step-by-step instructions for using this software, you have to learn and understand what you are doing to not screw stuff up. The parameters are there to be modified but it's up to you to know what you're doing.

Pretty scary with the knowledge that you have to just mess around with it cause the company that invented it doesn't even know what they did. LOL
Jet= but what other choices do you have?

sorry, should've made my question more clearly. I know dst is only thing for obs, just curious if someone had used hp on a NBS and dst for the obs. How they compare to each other.

thanks for the reply

it's tunercat obd2 since it's been bought out and sold under the JET name.
It's not userfriendly like EFILIVE or HPT, but for 97-98 vortecs that's all there is to choose from unless you install the 411 ecm.
As far as the comparison, they both achieve the same result. DST doesn't have anywhere the bells and whistles and the customer service I think is lacking at this point.
DST has a forum but the people at JET know very little about the product.
