anyone used this yet? i downloaded the demo version from jet, it looks somewhat similar to everybody elses.

 

I wouldn't use anything Jet had even if they gave to me for free. Rat bastards screwed me out of a ton of money. Their dyno sheets on their MAF is a load of cocka too.

For the price they are selling that thing for you can get 100% more satisfaction from HPT or EFI. The customer service ALONE is worth, and that's pretty amazing considering you never talk to anybody at HPT and Jet has a phone number. I couldn't even phathom talking to their tech support with tuning software.

But, again, if you can't tell, I am a little biased...asshats!

 

the jet dynamic spectrum tuner is basically an expensive version of tunercat obd2 which was bought by jet who then raised the price...hptuners & efilive are much more user friendly & functional then the jet unit IMHO.

First,I also HATE jet,they have shitty so called chips.I have tunercat along with HPTuners and I love them both,I have done alot with tunercat but now jet has the product and I am glad I bought tunercat when they owned it cause I will never deal with jet,I hate them

 

I also hate Jet as well, but Tunercat sold th rights to jet, the Tunercat 2/Jet setup is the ONLY tuning setup that will tune the 1996-2000 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 or 7.4l trucks.

I get my support from Tunercat, and John has been more than awesome. Too bad the rights went to Jet.

This is why I bought it for my "96" RCSB K1500. I loved HP Tuners and I would have gone that route if they supported my truck. HPT has such a great forum and knowledge base. It's easy to swap tunes and get advice from people and the HPT owners. I use an Autoxray diagnostic scanner from an old dodge project that works for all "96" OBDI II. It's no replcement for autotap but I can log and do real time data. I was wondering if we could make a tuning section on this board? I have some legitamate questions about the VE & PE tables on my truck. As soon as I put the Thorley's on I know I have to tune my LTFT's but the tables are very different for the 96 - 99 Vortec compared to the LS1.

BTW - I inquired to JET about their forum to support DST and they have this joke of a link on their website. I'm embarrased to paste it here.
