Default LC1 wideband problem

Anybody ever seen a wideband do this? The thing is all over the place. Left the O2 sensor in place and connected up my other LC1, and it works fine. Would suck if it died



I know I have a dead O2 sensor, so don't scream at me. lol

Bump it up... I'm ready to go WOT now, but I have zero fueling feedback. Stuck as of now, at least til I can get some dyno time...

Best idea so far: high zinc content in the break-in oil may have killed the O2 sensors.

Why did you use a high zinc content oil for break-in? You're not running a flat tappet cam...

It was recommended by someone more experienced than myself in the engine-building department. Supposed to reduce excessive heat buildup between rings and cylinders during break-in while the rings are seating.

I've had three LC1's go bad on me, all replaced for free, but not worth the hassle of taking them out. One of them did the same thing to me, but never took the time to troubleshoot in depth, just pulled it. Switched to a PLX since and never had a single problem.

Well the weird part is they both worked before I tried them on the new truck. I was just on the phone with Innovate, and they were puzzled. I bought a new O2 sensor from Oriellys in case the ZDDP oil was killing sensors, and no change. Changed the oil, too. I traced all my wires again to make sure everything was hooked up correctly and found no mistakes.

I suppose the only thing left to try is give it a dedicated power source and isolate it from the truck's electrical system. That would rule out noise on the power wires.

Tried my standalone LC1 on another car and it was doing the same thing. I am not buying Innovate **** any more, considering two have died...probably go with AEM this time. Any suggestions otherwise?

What did you do to get them replaced? They were honestly douchebags on the phone, both dudes I talked to. I wouldn't expect them to want to help much in regards to replacing my broken stuff, considering how those conversations went.

How are you guys having such bad luck with the lc1? Only issue i ever had was a setting in the lm programmer that was set to lambda and i tune in afr.... Been rocking it for 2yrs now
