Does hpt support LLY tuning? i checked their supported vehicles list and it just says 01-06 duramax and doesnt specify which engines. i'm looking into splitting either hpt or efilive with a friend. he has the LLY duramax and allison. i have the new vmax and 4L70e. which would be better suited for both of our needs? i know there both great products but for the vehicles listed above which is the best choice?

 

Since the LLY was from late 2004-2005 then yes HPT should support it.

 

Both Tunning company support the LLY and your truck. I would say you would be better off with EFILive mostly because there is a LOT more people using it to tune diesels. They have there own VERY active tuning section over on the the dieselplace.com with some really smart guys over there.
