Logging Calculated MPG PID..... 12-City/23-Highway
#13
Again! thank you thank you thank you for sharing this.
I finally tried it out on my way home. When I run late for work (usually every day) i drive quite fast and usually manage anywhere from 14-17mpg.
I plan to use this to optimize my driving habit by finding the best way to accelerate and get the most out of my highway mileage.
I have a theory that if you accelerate quick enough without a lot of throttle you can increase the amount of time you are in your sweet spots and get the most out of your fuel. (this based on how i drove a lot with the tow/haul on during my first tank with a tune).
Just logged 22.5mpg avg on my way home driving how I should. If only I'd drive normal every day!!

So I got it working and tried it out. nice PID guys!
highway cruise at 70 mph = 19.0 MPG avg
highway cruise at 60 mph = 19.8 MPG avg
What do you guys think? Stock LQ4 parameters with DFCO disabled. Can't really touch the mileage I used to get with the 3.42s though..
