Default Longtubes vs p2a01 and p2a04

I installed Calspeed longtubes last week. Ive been cruising around lately and it seem like once i get in it a bit, i end up with the SES light on. I pull the codes from my Diablo and i come up with p2a01 and p2a04. Ive had diablew to a cattless tune and i still end up with these codes with no rear 02's plugged in. Anybody shed some light on this issue?

Can't do a thing for you without the year, make, and model info . . .

Sorry man, 2005 Silverado 5.3

Im starting to think it could be the front o2 sensors being too cold.

No problem.

It's the rear O2 sensors. P2A01 and P2A04 refer to Bank 1 sensor 2 and Bank 2 sensor 2 (cat monitoring sensors) failing certain PCM self-tests.

Lew needs to re-check his tune . . .

Thanks for the quick response. Ive been in touch with Lew and im going to send him the tune i last installed and see if he can figure anything out from there.

What i don't understand is how are these codes being reported by the rear o2's if i don't even have them plugged into the truck?

The PCM is looking for the sensor values, and there's nothing there. So it sets the DTC's.

It's a tuning issue, and a simple one. Easy fix.

Lets hope so. He was in my tune yesterday and assured me that those were already turned off. I'm hoping he is wrong, but i kinda doubt it.

Ive read that some guys had to switch to Vette o2's to get something to switch fast enough, but im not 100% understanding on the issue there.

Edit: I just realized that the Vette o2's were something to do with the front one though.

As much as i wanna say that helped, i still have no clue why my truck is giving me the problem.

In other news...Lew said the last tune written matches his and he has no clue why i would still be having the problem. He sent me the tune again and told me to upload that one to the truck and try it again. He also said that he doesn't know what to do if this doesn't fix it, but he will try to ask around with the other Diablo tuners to see if they can help.
