I plugged the EGR plate with a bolt, cut the head off then welded it to ensure it never leaked. About a week after the install, I went back and tightened the collector bolts again. I might weld the studs in as well. I am wondering if the bung is not letting the o2 down far enough into the exhaust stream?

After I swapped the o2's and ran it for a bit in SD, it ran better. I couldnt figure out how to tune fast enough so I hired Mr. Wheatley to tune it with my HP Tuner. Money well spent for me.

Did you reuse factory manifold gaskets or the supplied? I reused the factory gaskets on mine. You might have cracked the sparkplug or didnt get the wire pushed on all the way. I know the #5 and #7 spark plugs were a pita to get in, #7 had to be installed from underneath. #6 should be relatively easy to get to.

I used the stock manifold gaskets.... always they are awesome!!! I'm going to go pull the spark plugs now.... and have a look at them on bank 2... everything on bank 1 is working fine
I put new wires on
I put new spark plugs in.. Delco replacements
If you get a universal swivel and a long extension you can get the #7 and #5 in from under the hump from the top of the truck with no problem
