MAF sensor wire color??

Default MAF sensor wire color??
If the sensor coil in the maf is discolored black instead of silver, steel colored, will this effect its opperation? I notice that after some time with a turbo the oil seems to discolor the wires. Im thinking this may be the cause to my slight throttle low load mis.
