What concerns me so much about this log is the amount of knock. There is no reason at all it should see this much at part throttle, especially at this TPS.

This is not the first mail order tune I've looked at either. It is the worse by far, but they all left room for improvements.

I never said Nelson was better. I have worked on many trucks with Nelson, pcmforless and w4me tunes. They were all decent gueses and have yet to see any real crapy from either, but all left room for improvement and could never compare with a live tune or with out sending logs back and forth.

I know a few guys with cammed trucks running Nelson and pcmforless tunes. I think brian's tunes were alittle better in this department as drivabilty was very good, Nelson was subpar. but again there was room for improvement with bolth and many things were not touched.

Thats what I like to see. Some actual comparisons between different tuners on similar vehicles. Thanks for the input.

Flyer, I was having similar issues when I started tuning with HPtuners on my stock PCM, and didnt have mutch KR at all with my mail order, but its all pretty muthc gone now. Ocasionally Ill get 1-2* on decel, but thats about it, time to raise the spark tables

lol I can take that 3 different ways, inquiring minds want to know

Another thing I would like to add. If your have tuning software and a working with a tunner, you really need to be using the same package as they are as they may not jive with one an other. I have seen some real strange things like changing cylnder vol., Stoich afr and some #'s in trans dont exist. eg tuner cat vs HPT.
