I'm not sure of anywhere. He may need a manual valve body to do that.
Does he not know that you can set 2 shift points? One for normal driving and another "Race Mode" with the Tow/Haul turned on. That trans is going to shift way better then he ever will.

Default manual shift adj.

Ye I know he will never outshift the pcm but some people like to play with there stuff & I guess he wants a lil more control to do that but still have it operate normally in drive. It is his dd & he is wanting to play .If you hold it in low 1 it will shift out at 26mph & about 3000rpm everytime , we was just trying to change that if possible .
So if I set the full throttle shift speed in perf tab then he can set his tow/haul button on & it will perform under those settings ?Thanks for all the help !

IIRC First gear is the Only gear that will do that. It will stay in first until you let off the throttle and then it will shift.

For first gear you will adjust "Manual Hold Gear, 2nd, 1->2 Shift Speed" which is D0914. Just set it higher than first gear is capable of hitting and then it should stay in first as long as the shifter is in first no mater what throttle position.

There is a truck around here that a dealership owner had and it has an "L33" in it but I THINK the owner had an LS1 put in it instead.
One kid would manually shift and i'd SMOKE him every time. The new owner pushes tow/haul and lets the pcm do the work and its a close race with me now.

The trans go HD2 kit will allow any rpm in any gear. It will hold 1st gear to rev limiter, even during low TPS%.
If you place the selector in 3rd or D, the trans behaves like stock with full auto shifting.

I can see wanting to hold 1st gear for low speed higher revs cruising, but WOT upshifts should be left to the PCM/TCM.

If you are using hptuners under transmission tab I cant remember what secondary tab but some of the pcms have a provision called saftey shifts for example saftey shift in D1 it will be like 5500 or something like that set these values higher than what he wants to shift for example set it to 6800 if he wants to shift at 6500 and you are done he can shift manually with no harware changes. Saftey shift simply means it will shift at this RPM for saftey of the vehcile if the driver hasnt already done it. Hope this helps some pcm may not have this feature shown in HPT

Default manual shift adj.

Thanks for all the help ! I have no Safety Shifts Tab ,Manual Hold Gear or anything like the 0914 area on this file .The p/u is '06 SS for what it's worth, yes I am using HP Tuners & under the Trans tab there is only Auto shift speed ,Shift Properties,General Pressure,Auto TCC,Manual C.A.G.S.& Torque Mngmt.
The trans was just built & I am pretty sure they did a shift kit ,I will find out which one on Mon. when the cust gets back in town .
