Question MAP @ WOT only 94-95kpa What is my restriction?

I made 3 passes last night at the local strip and I noticed that my MAP was reading around 94-95kpa during my runs. My truck is 100% stock (LQ9).

Which one would you think is being the most restrictive, the factory air tube or factory air box.

I just bought a Airaid MIT tube.

I'm going to dyno my truck before the MIT, change the MIT air tube on the dyno and make a few more pulls to see what REAL gains I should get. I am also going to tweak the AF and timing after the MIT is installed too.

I see about 80 KPA at 4,000 foot at zero vacuum. What is your altitude? I would expect to see 100+ in death vally (below sea level)

the most important thing is to scan pressure in intake BEFORE you start the engine. if barometric is 95, then 94 is really good, but if you get 95 with 101 baro, you got a bottleneck. i've gotten into a habit of starting to log before i start up the car, so i have few seconds of barometric pressure reading so i know my levels for recordkeeping sake.

Not sure what it reads when the engine is not running, I'll have to check it out today and report back along with a HPT log.

Exclamation

Here's the file:

It shows MAP of 99KPA when engine is off and at WOT at places it goes to 93KPA.

Sorry for the .zip file, board won't accept log files, also disregard the LM1 WB, it wasn't hooked up.

You can recalibrate the MAP but what happens when you hit 105 or 110 kpa?

Have you tried swaping out your intake yet?
BTW how hot was it when you loged? your AIT starts at 77 and in your last run it hit 68*. cold air intake seams to be working good.........
