Default My dd is down, duty cycle problems after cam.

Got the cam in the truck, put 60lb injectors in an added some idle air just trying to get it to stay running to do some pulls. truck will cruise around 1500-2k rpms on the dyno, truck will cruise at these rpms for 10-15 seconds then the duty cycle drops off an the truck dies...its showing a 6 on duty cycle then drops to 1 an finally zero. thought it was the injectors so put the stock ones back in with the to get a baseline, having the same problem so we put the truck in open loop same thing, disconnect the maf same thing. Should mention that the truck while cruising the truck is running 13.4 - 13.7ish afr an when it goes crazy an starts to lean the afr jumps to 19.1 afr. It's not throwing any codes, Thinking now about trying the camshaft sensor now. Its my dd really need it back!

check the fuel pump.

We have a gauge on the rail, its showing good pressure.

pressure is one thing. volume is another.

Did you do a crank relearn? Doubt this is it but have seen it do funny things.

How would I check the volume? I had a different tuner then the guy I'm using now tell me he hasn't ajusted the running air flow or the ve tables which will make it do this. Thoughts? I've had some say the tune is just off others there is a actual problem, I had no problems before the swap.

hell, disable the ve tables for a temp system check.

Truck will idle ok but sometimes after it runs a little an you put it in gear it dies. It can be idling then rev it some an it won't catch idle an die. Heard my ve tables could be off, does that sound right?
