my first code, P0300, help!
alright, so the truck's almost 5 yrs old, has 21K miles & ran fine last night, but today it threw a code. Plugged up the autocal & found out it's P0300 only. no other codes.
I'm searching around, but while I'm searching, if anyone has any insight, please post it up.
Is this something that would be covered under the 5yr/100K powertrain warranty?

do you have aftermarket spark wires? a P0300 is usually associated with a spark issue. Unfortunately the 300 means random so good luck nailing it down to a cylinder. Make sure all your spark plug wires are good, plugs, boots, and so on. Reset and see if it comes back. If it does then move on to real troubleshooting. You don't have any other codes right? No lean or o2 codes?

Could be a spark plug, plug wire, coil pack, just to start the list.
