Default Need Programming to LOWER Rev and Speed Limiter

My Church has a 2006 6.0 3500 Van and wants to put something in place to lower the speed limiter and rev limiter. The old people say this will help keep people from "hot *******" it

I checked out most of the programmers http://www.tbyrne.com/trucks/truckignition.html and they advertise raising the limiters of course, but would they also work at lowering them? I think they want the speed limiter at 75ish or something just over the highway speed limit.

I guess the stock limiter is at 98mph? Not sure, I haven't driven it yet...

yeah most trucks/van's have a 95-98mph speed limiter, I would try and post in your regional section here or on LS1 tech for someone with hptuners or efilive...usually they will do little things like that for little more then the cost of the license.

that's awesome... someone on HP Tuners forum did that to his son that was a habitual speeder with too many tickets... 45 mph and 2700 rev limiter FTW!

Check out Wheatley, I would think it's possible to use HP Tuners on the van and do this for you and his custom tune prices are very reasonable.
